Aside from being a haven for naturalists, Los Angeles, California; is home to the most celebrities in the US. The wealth is apparent in the streets of downtown LA and other cities in California. If you’re more into history than the glitz and glamour, the state is thought to have inherited its name from a queen called Califia. She is said to have ruled the “island” of California, which, was comprised of Amazonian-like female warriors. There are many speculations as to her origins, or if she were real in the first place, however, her presence is clear and living from the resounding legends to the present-day sculptures depicting her.
