Afropunk is an annual arts festival that includes live music, film, fashion, and art produced by black artists. The festival made its first debut at the Brooklyn Academy of Music in 2005, and has since expanded to other parts of the world.

Essence Festival is known as “the party with a purpose”, is an annual music festival which started in 1995 as a one-time event to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Essence, a magazine aimed primarily towards African-American women. Each year, their festival features the biggest in film, TV, food, & wine. In addition, they host a conference for black businesses, and, put on an exhibition showcasing Black Beauty & Fashion.

Everyday PPL is an event and cultural platform established in 2012 by founders Saada Ahmed, Chef Roble Ali & DJ Moma. Labeled by Vice as “The World’s Coolest Day Party” EP has grown from an intimate brunch party on NYC’s Lower East Side and evolved into a leader in the event & culture space with multiple monthly residencies in NYC and LA, seasonal pop-ups in Miami and special edition events in global locations such as Nairobi, Johannesburg & Cape Town. Additionally EP activates with cultural and community spaces to create safe spaces for discourse and dialogue and engages in wellness, travel and philanthropic programs.
